Hi! I’m Genny …
I graduated from Crystal Mountain Institute in Albuquerque, NM in 2016 to become a Licensed Massage Therapist and certified Kinesio® Taping Practitioner. I spent the next five years working with clients of all ages and body types in Albuquerque. During that time, I was continually awed by the body’s innate capacity to self-organize, heal and thrive through touch.
Rob and I moved to Taos in 2021 after becoming empty-nesters and getting married. Since then, it’s been a privilege to support the wellbeing of others in this community we love.
With a background in social work, two decades of being an elementary school teacher, and thanks to the joyful and humbling journey of parenthood, I bring a high level of empathy and intuition to the body work I offer. My responsive approach to each person and each massage session creates a safe, comfortable, therapeutic experience that is unforgettable.

What type of massage do you offer?
Because I am always reading your body to calm the nervous system and facilitate the greatest amount of relaxation possible, every At Your Best massage is a customized massage. While I focus primarily on deep relaxation using Swedish Massage strokes, I utilize techniques from many other modalities for deep tissue massage and treatments targeting pain relief.
What are the benefits of massage?
The Mayo Clinic and many bodies of research extol the benefits of massage. It can relieve aches and pains, decrease stress levels in the body, enhance mental clarity, and improve energy and greater flexibility. Massage can also activate lymph drainage, assist in elimination of toxins, and strengthen the immune system. And it feels good!
Can I get a CBD oil massage?
There is an additional $25 charge to upgrade your 60 or 90-minute treatment to a CBD massage.
CBD massage oil has been shown to have amazing anti-inflammatory, antidepressant and antibacterial properties, as well as a long list of other wellness benefits. Adding it to your massage can help calm inflammation, soothe anxiety, reduce chronic pain and melt tension.
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is sometimes confused with THC, which is the psychoactive part of the cannabis plant that people associate with feeling “high.” At Your Best proudly uses Earthlite Organic Extra Strength CBD Massage Oil, which is considered to be one of the top performing, professional CBD massage oils on the market today. Earthlite’s Extra Strength Oil has a trace amount of THC, marijuana’s main active ingredient. (<.03% THC). It would be highly unusual for this amount to show up on a drug test.
